SINGAPORE BOTANIC GARDENS
Singapore Botanic Gardens is a 52-hectare botanical garden in Singapore. The garden is located along Cluny Road and stretches between Napier Road and Holland Road in Tanglin and Bukit Timah Road.

A notable attraction of the Singapore Botanic Gardens is the National Orchid Garden. One of the main highlights of the National Orchid Garden is the VIP Orchid Garden. The VIP Orchid Garden displays orchid hybrids named after several heads of state, presidents, kings and queens.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens also has a small tropical rainforest, of around 6 hectares in size, which is older than the gardens itself. The Botanic Gardens' rainforest and its bigger cousin at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve are located well within the Singapore's city limits. A new attraction at the botanic garden is the Evolution Garden, located near Bukit Timah Road. Other attractions include the Ginger Garden, Palm Valley, Bandstand area, Sun Rockery and Sundial Garden

The botanic garden has three lakes, namely Symphony Lake, Eco-Lake and Swan Lake. Notable performers include the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and Singapore Chinese Orchestra.

The headquarters of the National Parks Board is located within the grounds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens. Eateries within the garden include a French fine-dining restaurant in a colonial bungalow, a cafe at the visitor centre and a restaurant at the Ginger Garden. Singapore Botanic Gardens is undergoing a major refurbishment and redevelopment at the Tanglin Core.
