Moreover, over 100 national races have been residing in the Union for years countable by the thousand. So, national solidarity and Union Spirit among national brethren are to be nurtured and upheld as the heritage of our ancestors. With peace and stability in the country, national economic life will be strong and the country will develop.

With this conviction, the government has been making endeavors for consolidation of national solidarity. Only when the equitable development of all parts of the nation is achieved will Union Spirit flourish. In implementation of the national development, uplift of the education level of the national people plays a key role. So also the education promotion programmes and the education plans at different levels have been laid down and are being implemented in the education sector with a view to enabling the basic education schools to use modern teaching aids and creating the opportunities to pursue education not only in the urban areas but also in rural areas.

The e-Education System has been introduced to enable the schools to use modern multimedia classrooms the length and breadth of the nation and to create the opportunities to learn the higher education after laying down the development zones throughout the Union.
