Myanmar Name : Swel Daw Pann
English Name : Bull Hoof Blossom/Orchid Tree Blossom
It varies from shrub to large tree. The leaf of this tree is heart-shaped. The flowers may he white, pink, red, yellow or purple. The flower’s long stamens are surrounded by petals. It is a popular landscaping flower along roadways.

Myanmar Name : Khway Pann
This is a tropical herb. It can be grown easily by grafting. There are many varieties, some of which are grown as ornamental plants. It bears big beautiful flowers. There are two varieties: one that blooms flowers in summer and the other that blooms in cold season. The roots of the summer variety are like tubers.

• Padauk This flower usually blooms at Thingyan (Myanmar Water Festival) or around Thingyan. The time is in April of each year. It has a yellow color. It is also known as Thingyan Flower. It gives sweet smells and a favourite for the Thingyan lovers.	Ngu Wah This flower also blooms around Thingyan. It is bright yellow in color and doesnt have much smell.
